How long does the Drivers Education Course take?
Our TDLR Approved Parent Taught Drivers Education course is a self-paced online course and takes 24 hours. You can not complete the entire course in one day – and you shouldn’t want to. Beginning June 1, 2023 you may complete up to 6 hours of coursework per day. You can not complete a PTDE or Teen course in less than 4 days. You may log in and out as many times as you desire.
Our TDLR Approved Adult Drivers Education course is a self-paced online course and takes 6 hours. You may complete the course in one sitting or over the course of several days.
