No additional fees for weekend testing.

DPS Submission (Included):

  • We will submit your paperwork to the DPS for you. No need to return to the DPS to receive your license.
  • Texas.gov TxT account is required – click here to apply. 
  • Your license will be mailed to you, you will be able to print a temporary license from your TxT account at Texas.gov.
  • No need to schedule an appointment with the DPS.
  • Your new license will be mailed to you.
  • This is a complimentary service we offer but cannot be guaranteed in all cases. Temporary (Paper) licenses are not eligible because a valid Audit Number is required for submission. License must be valid and not expiring within the next 6 months. Requires a completed form DL-14A for Adults or DL-14B for Teens.
  • Must not have pending appointment with Texas DPS as pending DPS appointments cause problems with submissions. 
  • Please check with your examiner to ensure this process runs smoothly. 

Testing Requirements:

Ages 16-17:

  • A valid DE-964, PTDE-964 or DEE-964 showing you have completed a Driver Education Course and that indicates “Drivers license Only”
  • A valid Texas Learner License (permit) with photo for a minimum of six months
  • Must be accompanied by the parent or legal guardian that completed the parent driving hours with the student.
  • 30 Hour Driving Log
  • A certificate from the DPS Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) video and receive a certificate dated within 90 days of the skills examination (unexpired).

Ages 18-24:

  • A valid DE-964 or ADE-1317 showing completion of a Driver Education Course
  • A valid Texas Learner License (permit) with photo
  • A certificate from the DPS Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD) video dated within 90 days of the skills examination (unexpired).

Ages 25 or older:

  • A valid Texas Learners License (permit) with photo
  • A certificate from the DPS Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD) video dated within 90 days of the skills examination (unexpired).
