Testing Requirements:
Ages 16-17:
- A valid DE-964, PTDE-964 or DEE-964 showing you have completed a Driver Education Course and that indicates “Drivers license Only”
- A valid Texas Learner License (permit) with photo for a minimum of six months
- Must be accompanied by the parent or legal guardian that completed the parent driving hours with the student.
- A certificate from the DPS Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) video and receive a certificate dated within 90 days of the skills examination.
Ages 18-24:
- A valid DE-964 or ADE-1317 showing completion of a Driver Education Course
- A valid Texas Learner License (permit) with photo
- A certificate from the DPS Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD) video dated within 90 days of the skills examination.
Ages 25 or older:
- A valid Texas Learners License (permit) with photo
- A certificate from the DPS Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD) video dated within 90 days of the skills examination.
