The roadmap
How a road test at our Tyler office works
Local knowledge
Practice these Tyler roads before test day
Loop 323
The loop that circles Tyler is the backbone of local driving: frequent signals, busy retail driveways and lots of lane changes. Practice scanning and signaling early.
Broadway Avenue
South Broadway is one of the busiest corridors in East Texas. Expect sudden stops, turning traffic and heavy weekend volume.
Toll 49
The Tyler-area toll loop has higher speeds and longer merges. Practice matching speed before you enter.
Downtown brick streets
The brick streets around the downtown square are rougher and narrower. Slow down and watch for pedestrians.
